Even though, water is a vital resource, only 3% of the water on our planet is fresh, while 10% of it can be exploited economically. As per the statistics, more than 20% of the mankind has difficulty to access clean water and a bit less than 20% of the countries have shortage in this valuable living fluid. The present climatic challenge of global warming that concluded endangering the water resources has sharply increased the demands for sustaining and recovering its supply.
In the nowadays populous communities, securing drinking water supply is impossible without the use of the latest technology. Owing to the fact that the natural water resources are no longer fulfill the demands, various water treatment technologies and re-use have gained increasing significance worldwide.
