TREATMENT

Rivers, lakes and vital drinking water reserves are increasingly at risk due to contamination pertaining to human which can only be guaranteed through decontamination of the wastewater. Today, technological progress is increasingly broadening the range of possibilities offered by classic environmental protection to discharge clean water back to rivers as well as preserving the available resources through the wastewater treatment. The main ecological focus is on water protection and the multiple use of wastewater.
SHAFAB provides a wide range of optimized solutions extending to advanced water treatment systems including water recycling.

Our services range from technology development, design and engineering, procurement and construction to operation and maintenance for both industry and municipalities for water and waste water treatment and furthermore to the oil and gas industries and packages.

Activated Sludge process

In a sewage (or industrial wastewater) treatment plant, the activated sludge process is a biological process that can be used for the following purposes: oxidizing carbonaceous biological matter, oxidizing nitrogenous matter:
mainly ammonium and nitrogen in biological matter, removing nutrients

A20 and AO

This solution is aimed to recover the chemical wastewater. This method is engaged mainlyfor organic and phosphorous removal as well as denitrification.

MLE (Modified Ludzack-Ettinger)

MLE is the most commonly used biological nutrient removal (BNR) process in MBR, which is primarily targeting nitrogen removal.

SBR (Sequencing batch reactors)

SBR reactors treat wastewater such as sewage or output from anaerobic digesters or mechanical biological treatment facilities in batches. Oxygen is bubbled through the mixture of wastewater and activated sludge to reduce the organic traces. (measured as biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD).

MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor)

Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) process improves reliability, simplifies operation, and needs less space than traditional wastewater treatment systems.

MBR (Membrane bioreactor)

Is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultrafiltration with a suspended growth bioreactor, and is now widely used for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment with plant sizes up to 80,000 population equivalent (i.e. 48 million liters per day).

SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS.
FOR A BETTER LIFE.

In the equipment supply and procurement, this has close commercial deals with internationally approved and popular manufacturers across the Europe for valves, control system, pumps and etc., as per the industry requirements. Shafab is proud of continuous development in its engineers’ knowledge through endless training aiming to expand the R&D sector’s expertise. At the same time, these activities are supported with technical interaction with international R&D centers across the world which has made us the bests.
